Brazil is not just a country – it’s an experience.
I came back from there full of memories, experiences and flavors that never leave. Every corner of Brazil is a story, every street is music, and every view is heart-warming. If you’re planning your trip to the land of coffee and samba, I can guarantee you that it will be an experience that will leave you speechless – and you’ll find yourself constantly discovering something new and exciting.

1. What to see in Brazil? Every attraction that requires a visit
Already at the airport in Rio de Janeiro, you can feel the unique energy of this city. The people, the smiles, the colors – everything here conveys a celebration of life. From the opportunity to catch the sunrise from Copacabana Beach to climbing Sugarloaf Mountain, the views of Brazil don’t leave you even after you’ve returned home.
Rio de Janeiro: Rio is the gateway to Brazil. Every moment here feels like the whole city is dancing. If you love music, the beaches here are the perfect “club.” Don’t miss the statue of Christ the Redeemer, which overlooks the city from a spectacular vantage point.
Other attractions: Tourist sites like Tijuca Gardens, the largest urban nature reserve in the world.
The Amazon: Imagine yourself sailing on the Amazon River, surrounded by endless rainforests, hearing the sounds of tropical animals on the sides. The experience of sailing on the Amazon is one of the most exciting experiences you can have in South America, and in fact, in the entire world. Don’t forget to take the time to hike in the forest, where every moment feels like entering another world.
Iguazu Falls: It’s as if nature decided to create one of the most mesmerizing sites in the world. The waterfalls on the Brazil-Argentina border are more than just a natural phenomenon – they are an experience. I arrived there during the rainy season, and the sight of the cascading waterfalls truly took my breath away.
Foz do Iguaçu: One of my favorite places. It’s not only the most mesmerizing place to see huge waterfalls – it’s also the place where you stop everything, just to feel the power of nature.
Salvador: When I arrived in Salvador, I felt like I was entering another world – there’s a perfect combination of music, dance, and cultural abundance. The city is lively, with colorful markets and streets filled with local art. You can’t talk about Salvador without mentioning music – every street here is a party!
2. Best times to visit Brazil
Brazil is a tropical country, so the weather varies greatly depending on the region you are in. If you are planning your trip, you should take this into account:
Summer season (December to March): If you are a beach lover, there is no better time to visit Rio de Janeiro, Salvador or Florianópolis, whose beaches offer endless sea experiences.
Famous beaches like Copacabana and Ipanema will tell you everything you need to know about the ultimate beach experience.

Brazilian winter (June to September): The winter months offer excellent trips to nature and inland cities like São Paulo and Belo Horizonte, which are especially cool and pleasant.
3. How to get around in Brazil? Important tips
Brazil is very large, and has a lot to offer in terms of transportation – from urban transport systems to options for trips away from the city:
Domestic flights: Due to the vast size of the country, domestic flights are a great way to get around quickly.
Domestic flights are relatively cheap, and if you want to see every corner of the country, I recommend using them.

Public transportation: In metropolitan areas like Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, the metro system is excellent and helps you get from place to place easily.
Car rental: When you leave the big cities, the most convenient way to travel is by renting a car, especially if you want to enter wilder areas.
4. Accommodation, food and experiences in Brazil
Accommodation: From luxury hotels to charming hostels, Brazil offers a variety of accommodation options to suit every budget. I stayed in a few small hotels in the city center, and I loved the local atmosphere that was in these places. If you like the boutique experience, there are many hotels located near the beaches.

Food: Everyone in Brazil will tell you the same thing – the food here is substantial. Dishes like Feijoada, a Brazilian stew made with beans and fish, along with churrasco (grilled meat) are a must. If you love fish, you’ve come to the right place – you won’t find such freshness anywhere else. And if you have a sweet tooth, Papa Coco is a must-try dessert – a coconut-flavored treat that feels like a hug.
5. Safety and recommendations for travelers
Keep an eye on your belongings: In crowded places, such as markets or popular beaches, it’s always a good idea to pay attention to your personal belongings. Brazil is a safe country, but you always need to be careful.
Health: Make sure to get the necessary vaccinations and keep drinking mineral water.
Finance: It’s recommended to carry credit cards with you and avoid carrying large amounts of cash.
